Product Testimonial:
I saw my first panoramic picture in 1998 and started by this to understand “what to do to create such a picture”. I tried and tried and tried a lot. Then I found the Manfrotto Tripod MA055 and the Head MA 302 and I was able to create my first panoramic pictures.
From that day I know what it means to work with good products. It is necessary that you can rely on your accessorie in difficulte and important situaiton. This enables you – the photographer – to concentrate 100% on taking the picture.

Biography:
Uwe Statz was born in 1960. During his childhood, he worked with his father in the dark room which was normally the kitchen.

At the age of 13, he was given his first SLR camera as present for his Confirmation. At 14, he decided to become a photographer.

However, he focused during his storm and stress age mainly on rock music. Yet, after 25 years of hard stage experience he saw in 1998 his first panoramic picture. From that moment on photography became his main passion and activity. At that time, intenet was young so the possiblity to get information about panorama photography was very small. No books, no special equipment but instead of this a lot of frustration. Uwe “demoniac” perseveration experience after experience helped him in those times to improve and create great panoramic pictures.
The digital area and the new technologies provided Uwe more tools to understand more and to extend his way of taking panoramic pictures.

Uwe gives his experience and this passion to interested photographers at workshops with Manfrotto, Nikon and Sigma.
