For Ahmed: Well, one of the best products is the Lastolite Cubelite, it allows you to play with 2 or 3 lights and to give form to what you are photographing. I use both countinuos lights or flashes, it depends on the place and the weight I can transport with me. Normally I use a normal or a medium tele lens.
For Stacey: My talk is no brand-specific, I use Nikon because for my way is more intuitive, but you can usa Canon as well. One of the things I tell more often to my students is: “read the instructions”. You will probably find the same settings you saw in my talk.
